Atlanta Bimonthly pump meets/events.

This is the 2014 Pump meet schedule. I'm trying to avoid running into local series dates. GFOA hasn't fully released their schedule. I may alter it a bit once fields release more info throughout the the year.

If you haven't join our Facebook page, please search for "Georgia Pumpers Association". I am the admin there and will add you as I can.

We have been having bimonthly meets since the beginning of this year and plan to continue as such. These meets are in Atlanta and the surrounding area, however we try to keep them close to avoid long travel times and allow for the most amount of pumpers to attend.

Classic seems to be the best from experience. We've had great turnouts there and some were even short notice.

Please make your suggestions and ideas about the date and location. Dozzer is a no go since they only have a speedball setup.

2014 List

March 15th - Classic Paintball

May 17th - Classic Paintball

July 19th - Nitro Paintball

Sept 27th - Classic Paintball

Nov 15th - Classic Paintball

If anyone wants to possibly meet up and get a team for World Cup, please post here so we might be able to get some squads together.

Sorry folks. I have too many things going on right now. Can't really spend too much time getting pump day organized.

Classic and Nitro are always good. We can look into Carnage. Charlie is going to call Steve and find out how many different fields he has. I agree that Dosser isn't worth the time for a pump day, not nearly enough field variety.

I personally wouldn't mind trying to play the western town at Arkenstone. I know it's a bit more expensive, but that layout is just fun.

Which one is that? The Acworth? From what I believe, Arkenstone only does paintball like every other weekend.

There is a good chance I won't be making the November one. I should be in training. But I will still set it up.

skip the APPA registered unless you plan on keeping D2+ players out because it will screw up people's actual ranking.

True, I forgot about the points. Cause I was thinking making it a 2 division pump d4 and then open, but I can just drop the appa.

I was thinking psp r2 xball format with 5min games with a 1min time inbetween each point played. Minimal of 6-10 teams with possible roster limit of 6p each team

Until it took off I'd keep it a 3 man. This also allows smaller fields to be able to support that Xball style will shoot more paint, which is good for field owners, bad if they have ****ty pit or ****ty paint. You'd have to make it FPO so they can make a little money. By keeping it 3 man you would have a better chance of getting 6-10 teams. Hell our pump meets sometimes have that amount. Rarely, but they have. Not to mention you might have some Bama and Tennessee boys come down.

It be hard to do. Mainly it would be getting the word out to all the pumpers. We are all spread out so much.

good points, like I said I am in process of starting the series and is still doing some research, one a good way of making it fun and affordable

3man xball r2 with only 3man roster limit. FPO. (less entry)
3man only 4man roster limit. BYOP/FP. (more entry)

cause I was looking at basing it off the PSP pump division

As long as the tourney field does not inflatable bunkers it could be interesting. Maybe like urban towns. We have acreage and woods. I think Ga needs a woodsball circuit. Somethin like what the UWL offers. U have your pumps, mech, And electros in one game! It's the best of all worlds friends. Plus it seems to me that people, due to the economy, are bringing the mechs, pumps, and camo back out to save a lil cash on paint, and takin to the woods. By the way nitro is where it's at these days. Again, just my opinion. I hate to take my business anywhere else. Mario and his wife are just too good to people.
