Thank You!

I wanted to take a moment to send out a belated "Thank You!" to all of those who were a part of the hugely successful OXCC Challenge last weekend.

Thank you to all the teams and players who came out to play at the OXCC Challenge! Congratulations to the podium teams:

1st - United
2nd - Freedom Red
3rd - Freedom Blue

1st - Leverage D4
2nd - NRG Elite
3rd - Freedom

The 3Man competition has settled into a 4 team team race between United, Freedom Red, Freedom and WeR1. United and Freedom have each won 2 events, while Freedom Red and WeR1 have been regulars on the podium throughout the first 4 events. Who will bring their A-game in October at the MAPL Masters to take the series title?

The 5Man competition has become the personal stage for Leverage D4. Having won 3 out of 4 events this season. Can any team rise to the occasion and challenge the dominance of this team at the MAPL Masters in October?

The OXCC Challenge was marked by the appearance of Team Destiny in both the 3Man and 5Man competitions. While the ladies didn't fare so well on Saturday, they did fight back to a respectable 7th place finish on Sunday. It was a pleasure to have Destiny at the MAPL.

Also Thank You's go out to Rick and Nancy Carver, Gizmo, and the rest of the OXCC staff for all the hard work to prepare and maintain such a great venue.

Much appreciation also goes out to the MAPL staff, without whom, the show can't go on: Jennifer, Joshua, Crystal, Jimmy, Chris, and Caleb. You guys rock! Special Thanks go out to our new Ultimate Ref - Steve Burkett, for a job well done! Good to have you on board bro!

And finally.... the reffing staff. I've personally been involved in literally hundreds of paintball events and witnessed many more, but I have never run/been a part of/or seen a more efficiently run RaceTo event than the one you guys put on last weekend. To stay on schedule throughout the prelims and finish the playoffs early on both days is remarkable to say the least. The clock management would have been difficult enough considering how the schedule is set up, but throw in there the difficulties associated with a paintball competition and you're facing mission impossible. Facing all of this, you guys excelled!! So Thank You! to Marty, Kelvin, Tristin, Lou, Jeremy, Colby, Danny, and Nick. You guys are the best!!

Thanks also go out to the MAPL sponsors: Valken, Planet Eclipse, Crossfire, Virtue, Exalt, RAZA, Bob Long, and

Again, Thank You! to everyone who had a hand in making the OXCC Challenge a huge success! See you at the MAPL Masters in October!

Things will be different this last event. La Coka Nostra is coming out of the woodworks and making a return to the MAPL. Not sure if 3-Man or 5-Man yet, but either way we are guaranteed to shake things up.
