Today I have my backup gun, a Dye Dm6 up for sale or trade. The color scheme is silver/blue.
CONDITION: 7/10 cosmetically and 10/10 mechanically/internally. There are scratches and scuffs on the outside of the gun, but it shoots nice and smooth like it should, all the electronics work great. I recently cleaned and greased up the bolt and took of the reguator, you may have to chrono the gun to get the velocity where it should be because the regulator was taken off. The gun is missing one grip screw, but they stay in place just fine
PRICE: I'm asking $249 OBO, bring trades of the same value, I'm not adding any $, so don't ask.
Remember the price is OBO (or best offer)
I'm willing to do non paintball trades as well as paintball trades, I am interested in cameras I can use to film gameplay videos and downhill mountain bike videos.
NO REFUNDS! THE GUN WILL LEAVE MY HANDS IN WORKING CONDITION, UNLESS STATED OTHERWISE. I JUST SHOT A HOPPER THROUGH THIS GUN AND IT WORKED FINE.
WHAT IS INCLUDED: Everything you see in the pictures.
Dow 55 is bad for the gun's o-rings as it penetrates them and makes them swell, throwing of tolerances. Dow 33 doesn't affect the o-rings like that. They are not interchangeable.
i disagree, but only in part. i have always used Dow55 on static o-rings for that very reason - they'll swell a little which creates a better seal. since static o-rings aren't ever in motion then there's no issue at all from the swelling. i have done this on any marker, regardless of the manufacturer, including Dye, PE, Invert, Infinity, etc.
i use dow33 on dynamic o-rings - the ones that move during operation - with a fraction of a drop of syntheic oil mixed in with it. i clean my markers after each day's use and change my o-rings slightly in advance of them actually needing it and to date i have never once had a marker fail on me during play.
