From there click the volume down until you see boot recovery and hit the power button to enter that way.
Here is my procedure for installing a new rom:
To create a nandroid (backup of your system)
1. Backup and restore < Backup then let it do its thing.
Next you need to delete all the data off there. This could mess up your next rom so always clean flash.
install zip from sdcard < choose zip from sd card < find your rom and flash.
Repeat for gapps if you need those.
BOOM you have a new rom

My sister got a kindle fore thing for Christmas and got so jelly when I started doing anything on my TF700. I'm probably gonna pick up the new N10 if its anything like the new N7. I prefer the 10" form factor for some reason.
Figured out how to watch 1 channel on android last night.
Just download boat browser, go to settings and turn on flash, then go to vodly.to and ignore the 100 ads that pop up. When you hit play you can either download the video or stream, streamed two shows last night flawlessly.
Had to do it because my laptop died with ~3 minutes left in a season finale..the bastard

Try another cable, there might be a bent pin or something inside the cable side of the connector. Troubleshoot by trying to separate the problem from the phone ie use different cord, use different 115v convertor.
