Make sure your orings are not too loose, especially the bolt sail oring and the oring in the bolt sleeve, also if the orings on the bolt guide are too tight the bolt will struggle to get all the way forward (this is what I've found)

Using your custom va? Is it feeding all the necesary ports on the shocker body? There is one passage to feed the solenoid and one to fill the firing can.

If your guide orings are too tight, the bolt may issue some resistance. But I would imagine you would still get air out the breech.

If you have enough air, you can try taking off the bolt sail oring and pushing the bolt all the way forward with your finger. You vent air like crazy from the solenoid, but you should be able to manually cycle the bolt to see if the firing can has air.

Actually, I just though of this, you can try taking off the front, inner can oring and see if it leaks. If it does, you are getting air in there. If not, it might be your custom VA, like Alex said.

sooo i got really busy and forgot about the thread :/

long story short.... she is DONE!!!!

shot it for the first time on the field last night!

she did have a little leak, but totally shootable

custom vert asa, not too terrible to make
milling the etek frame, really easy, lots of guess and check
unsoddering/resoddering the noid, easy

stinger grips, and virtue board got here at the end of last week, just in time for supergame

went to assemble it and the frame milling wasnt deep enough, so the noid wouldnt click, fixed it and now she clicks perfectly!

all in all, easy build, super fun to shoot, i am a really happy camper!

i havnt really looked into it yet, but what would cause a small air leak around the bolt, (put your finger in the breech against the bolt and you can slowly feel it build up)

its a stock guide, lurker egine, and stock can....

Leak down the breech can be one of only 3 orings:
-inner front can oring
-outer front can oring
-front bolt guide oring

Just swap out those.

Put up pictures!

Clean the only that hole in the frame is the only thing keeping me from finishing mine. I just don't want a hole lol.

if i had an extra noid, i'd see if its possible to cut that corner off (make it a chamfer instead of square) and you might not break through

Ego 5/6 noid is smaller than a shocker noid, otherwise I'm just gonna mske a s small delrin tray/spacer and just cheat since that doesn't realy bother me with this particular shego.

Looks good, though I've never been a fan of those flat panel grips. I'd put a set of stock etek grips on it. Even if you don't keep it, at least you can say you did it!
