I have not owned a DAM. Played with a DAM for a few hours though. The internals are similar to a reflex, closer to a reflex than a DM. No lpr, but you almost don't notice it due to the extra gun weight. If it came off like I was trashing them, I didn't mean it.
The DAM does have a LPR...it just isn't where it is on the DM. On the DAM, they moved the LPR from the forgrip area...where the Mag well now is...to behind the bolt. The lpr screws into the back of the bolt and the whole assembly gets removed through the back of the marker.

Here is an image of the bolt, engine (silver) and regulator (black) as well as the illustration of how they all go together.

It's not so much like you were trashing them, but the DAM is a DM with a mag and rails. People keep saying it's not but I have yet to meet one of those people who have actually inspected the internals of the gun to see what is actually there.

I will admit I'm surprised to see someone who owned a WS-66...most people have no clue what they are.

The lpr on a DM is under the bolt, not the forgrip. The grip on the front of the gun is the hyper 3 regulator. The hyper 3 is a high pressure regulator. The hyper in line regulator (this is what is in the DM) is based off of the hyper 3 design. This is not an lpr.

I bought firecrackers and roman candles to distract the enemy so we could flank them.

Not really though, but that would be a bad purchase for paintball.

Couple months ago, I needed an extra hopper. Was looking for a used Halo Too/B/V35 and ended up buying an "Electronic Halo Hopper" because the auction was about to end but the mobile ebay app wasn't loading pictures.

When I finally got to my computer to pay, turned out I had bought a Halo TSA for about 38 after shipping. I took it out of the box once to make sure it was working, just to leave proper feedback. Been sitting there since.

Not so much a bad purchase as a "well crap" purchase. Doubling down on eBay and winning both auctions with no other bidders. I was hedging my bets and now I'm the proud owner of 2 new-to-me markers.

This is after I bought my son a brand new marker for his birthday which is in a couple weeks. Oh well, I didn't need that money anyway.

Back when I was first getting into paintball. It's slower than my gravity hopper. Used it once and then it went into the closet forever.

Tippmann 98 Custom upgrades, hundreds of dollars that could have been saved and used to buy a better marker. Oh well, you live and you learn

I purchased a used hyper-frame ($200.00) for my old auto-mag and it would not work, it took another $80.00 bucks to get it fixed, and shorty after I purchased 2 P&E Ethas for my son and I. I still have the hyper-frame and it still works but I never use it. Could have used that money for my upcoming GEO3 purchase.

Luckily it was a cheap screw up but the tru flight quiet barrel was mine. Best way to describe that trajectory is the most gnarly knuckleball in existence.
Past about 10 feet, you better hope you're playing an intense new form of paintball where the rules are to never hit anyone or anything you are aiming at.
