As of August 2014, it looks like these are finally about to hit the market.

Apparently there are a couple prototype Pinokios out there. It's obviously much smaller and compact than what we are used to from them. I haven't seen one, but I got this unconfirmed info on it so take it with a grain of salt. Pinokio has been talking about releasing a new hopper for years, but this is the first time I've seen even a picture of one. Apparently they've been spotted at the NPPL and MAPL recently.

It is supposed to be the lightest hopper out.

It will be available in black with a limited number in chrome. Holds 190 to 200 rounds.

We got some details directly from one of the guys at Pinokio.

Quote:
  • The weight- w batteries less than 1 pound.
  • Smaller and lighter than anything on the market.
  • No long nose.
  • Feeds at 29bps on an ego and 27 sustained on a Bob long insight.
  • Rubberized shells rather than polycarbonate to eliminate feed neck breaks and shell cracks.
  • Holds 180 balls.
  • Height comparable to a rotor- possibly a tad lower in overall height.
  • Still in very early prototype testing phase but used in-game at MAPL Chesapeake city classic and at the NPPL NEO.
  • Will use existing exalt feed gates.
  • No ETA yet.

I hit them up to see if we could get some details from the source.

Yeah. Looks like it'll be front heavy when fully loaded. Be interesting to see what people have to say after using it.

I saw this and shot one at NEO. They will be decently priced and there will be an upgraded model with some features that people should like.

Any idea how much it holds? Or how it senses when to spin?

looks like a pinokio for sure!

I had an original and really liked it however it didnt always feed properly. The little tab in the feedneck that was supposed to make the propeller spin and feed the balls didnt always work as it was supposed to.

It uses a tab in the feed neck again like the older one. But this new one is a different and works much better. I think this are going to sell a lot

This is legit, I am a teammate of his.

This hopper is balanced perfectly, far lighter than the rotor, but made with the same material, although I think he was talking about pricing it around ~$200. I will personally be sticking with my rotor.

Will it have that goofy nose cone attachment? And what ever happened to the F1?

I think he said it will come with the stock shell that is like ~200-240rds and a bigger one that is close to 350 or 400, iirc.

/e also it uses 2 9v's i believe

I know the guy in the picture. This is what he said about it on his Facebook: "I got to try out the new prototype pinokio hopper! Designed for speedball it's great! I am the first in history to test it in game action... I also will be using it at nppl. And also will be getting a special edition chrome scheme number 001! Very first production model and signed by the owner all for free! Be jelly!! Which btw guys, I won't lie I heard pinokio and was hesitant but this new loader is 100% legit! Will be a glad owner and def using it! Loved it and worked wonderfully so light balanced and yea just I def recommend checking em out then in 3 1/2 months! Thank you pinokio!"
