Lol iggy isn't going to take any of Barnes' minutes, he's going to take over jacks minutes. If anything Barnes will get more minutes since there are more small ball teams he will play a stretch 4. This move was nothing but great for the warriors

Btw does anyone know what the bulls are up to right now? I haven't really heard much besides giving up belinelli.

Barnes has a higher ceiling than Thompson. I hope they balance the minutes well. They guy can play 2-4 and I hope they use him as much as they can.

They are continuing to send flowers to all their sick, broken players.

Still banking on Rose to stay healthy and Boozer to produce. Heard some talk of moving Deng this summer or before the deadline though.

Yeah I'm seeing if Andre Drummond can shoot a jumpshot since that's the key for Detroit to be a elite team in the East

Detroit will not make the playoffs, much less be even close to 'elite.'

They "could" make the playoffs in the east. Miami, Chi, Brook, Ind, Wash. Cle, NY, and Det are my playoff teams from the east thus far.

Miami, Indy, Brooklyn, NY, and Chicago are all locks. I see Atlanta, Washington, and Cleveland rounding it out.

I don't think ATL will do anything this year. They just don't have the same talent or athleticism as two years ago.

Depends on who else they sign. I like their front court, they just need a consistent scorer in the backcourt and they should be able to win 40-45 games (sadly, enough for a 7/8 in the East).

well its pretty much down to CLE and ATL for Bynum. the cavs supposedly offered a 24mil, 2 yr deal (second year is a team option) and he is meeting with ATL now. he is expected to make his choice today.

regardless, ATL is still a play off team in the east. at the very least they can squeak into a 7 or 8 seed

oh, cavs also preparing to sign kirilenko and brand if the bynum talks fall through. i don't hate either of those options but the cavs DEFINITELY do not need another 4. Brand would be playing center most likely, they have like 4 4's atm.

It's like a 50/50 as to whether Bynum actually suits up on a given night yet alone gives a productive performance. As things sit, he's a pretty big non factor.

he just needs to be able to go out on the court and ****ing stand there. andy had an all star year last year before he went down so i would assume he would still be getting the bulk of the time. there is just zero depth at center for the cavs now that speights is gone.

its not like the cavs lose anything either. they have a bunch of cap space and if it doesn't work out they release him next year no problem. ATL has more to lose by signing him, imo

I hate the hawks so I hope they get stuck with Bynum. I would love to see them bite the bait on a 4 year contract.

yea i think i would only get pissed if cleveland signs him to a multi year deal with no out after a year. if he doesn't work out who cares, release him. if he does you have one of the best centers in the league. CLE really has nothing to lose if he accepts the offer.

the only thing that would suck is they probably won't be able to sign Kirilenko who is much more of a sure thing for being a nice piece.

They blew dick for the first half of last season. However, the second half they went off. They have all the pieces they need in order make the playoffs.
