Kinda curious Simon, chances are you own a z2 or prophecy, and you have to own a Halo. Can you take some side by side pictures?

Simon,

Love the idea and great work. I would like to see the height profile lower. If the nose is move forward a little and compensate for the height of the loader.

He isn't really going to be doing more work on this guys. I would stop asking him to do it because he has other stuff he is working on and needs to do for his new company.

He made the cad files available, so you can modify it. Take the initiative to change it yourself and make it the way you like it.

Either...
A) You had this idea before me
B) You saw my posts about making a shell kit to accommodate modern loader internals.

Thanks regardless. Will follow this so I can purchase the shells.

3D printing is a process also known as rapid prototyping. You send the 3D file info (which Simon is just putting out there for free) to a 3D printing service and they send you back the parts. (OR if you're a university student you chat up the 3D printing lab tech. and maybe bring him a six pack.)

My question is, which type of 3D printing process is going to give you the best hopper shell? Its gotta be rugged but not too heavy. Anyone know which process/material would be best for this? Simon, what did you use?

Is the space in the front meant for the 6 pack of AA's or did you slim that down for a 9 volt?

Either way this looks like a great product for the pump community, now just to track down a 3d printer.

Will you produce these or strictly for the 3D printer guys?

If its the later...

Who wants to print me a kit?

Simon love the idea and hope it takes off so fast you have trouble keeping up. Had a chance to meet you in Chicago in the long long ago when you first started with nps. Great guy with better ideas, good luck brotato.

Cool idea 3D printing for paintball. I was planing on purchasing a 3d printer myself anyway before the current administration makes them illegal.

People would be more receptive to the hopper if it had a smaller profile. Think 100round Rotor with revi internals thats excepts a standard speed feed or get exalt to create a miniature version.

You have to look at it like this. Why would I go threw the trouble to print one or have one made by someone with a printer. Then purchase or pull apart a hopper I already own or had to purchase used or new. To make a 100 round hopper that has a larger profile then 200 round hoppers redly available and on the marker currently. I love the idea. I love the concept. The product design I feel is missing its mark.

If you make it people will buy this. I would be more then happy to pay $150 for it. Im sure others would to. R1 has no plans to produce this many and people have called asking them to. There are a lot of pump players that would love to have something like this. Pump is making a comeback in paintball. I have noticed it over the past few years. Look at the industries bigs making pump guns. Empire bringing back the Sniper, Bob longs MVP, CCMs waiting list, and kids crying for more then they can produce. Pump is an inexpensive way for people that cant afford $2000 events to stay active in paintball and it's growing.

Hmmm... I wonder if you could use the pump stroke to charge the spring and have a mechanical force feed loader...

Love it. A great step forward for the pump world. I'm also one of those wondering if we will see the shells for sale. Love the open source concept, but not having access to the needed tools and such means having one done up would be extremely expensive. Cheers!
