I just played the new layout for the first time as well. I actually really liked snake. There's lots of good angles/cross shots from there. I actually had two games where I shot out 4 people (we were playing 5v5's). I was happy lol.
Just the rest of my gear. I have routinely washed my soft goods with all the velcro secure like this on delicate for years. Honestly, I am flabbergasted at how this happened. Probably going to end up paying someone to sew the belt back. The pack has tons of life left in it.
I love the Chi layout. Snake is easy to get into and there are a lot of shots and options when you're in there. Most points I was running and gunning all the way in and never even took a bounce. This weekend I'm going to play up the center and figure out a way to stop that.
I like that tall cake in the center. It is easy to get pinched out from there from both the dorito and snake side, but if you are good at gunfighting and can work with your teammates it is pretty effective for containing the front players from pushing up.
One hell of a weekend up in North Carolina for us. Greg's team and Absolute Chaos treated us like royalty all weekend. Shot over 50 cases of paint between the 2 days and played an insane amount of points on the layout. Spence took mad video footage of us too, so i'm sure you guys will be seeing an RCK video of some sort sometime soon.
It was definitely an experience to have Mike's team up here. Saturday was rough and we got stomped on for most of the day. Sunday we came back though and actually played like we knew how to play paintball, haha. Mikey shot me off the break more than I shot him, so I'm gonna have to figure out how to get him back for that.
