Post First Death From Marijuana???

All I gotta say is wtf??? I don't think this is correct, I think its some propoganda ****, anyone got any more info that could confirm this?

From www.thesun.co.uk
http://www.thesun.co.uk/article/0,,2-2004031295,00.html

A MAN aged 36 is thought to have become the first in Britain to die directly from cannabis poisoning.
Lee Maisey smoked 25,000 joints during his 11-year addiction to the drug due to be decriminalised later this month.

He said he had a headache before collapsing.

Yesterday a coroner recorded that single Mr Maisey, of Summerhill, Pembrokeshire, died from cannabis toxicity.

Afterwards experts warned cannabis was getting stronger and risks were even higher if it is eaten rather than smoked.

Ok I find this unbelieveable now just on how much he smoked, I mean did they just pull 25,000 joints out of there ***** or what??? So that would be like 6 joints a day, so he probaly smoked about a 1/8-1/4 a day, **** I know people who do that all the time, and they don't have a problem. I think this guy would more likely die from lung cancer or some other lung problem before then.

God I want a ****ing fat joint right now, been 4 weeks since I smoked got ****ing busted for like the 3rd or 4th time I forget lol

If you could die from smoking that much, my best friend's dad would be in big big trouble.. I think he smokes the majority of the output from the Matanuska Valley, and he's still kicking

lol, the only way someone can be addictited to herb is psychologicaly. It's all in your head. And someone dying from herb over a 11 year span is Bull Crap!

The only way he could of died from this is if he smoked 11,000 J's in one day! lmao!

most addictions are psychological. That doesn't make them less of an addiction.

I understand, but lets say someone's addicted to Heroin, It's going to be a lot harder for them to get off of Heroin than a persons mental addiction to marijuana.

I just wanted to express my thoughts right now, no arguments intended.

yes it is true. with simple therapy one could get over their marijuana "addiction" easily, but have you ever tried kicking a physical addiction to serious drugs? i had a taste of addiction with oxy's, and i can vouch that physical addictions are much harder to break.
