I would suggest hand washing with a little wash detergent and water. Lightly brushing wouldn't hurt.

You probably could put it in the wash on gentle. If you think about it, they are made to withhold diving, sliding, and sweat. Definitely air dry it, though.

I usually was ALL of my gear on gentle with detergent and cold water. Then I spot clean with a damp microfiber towel with a bit of soap on it.

I always recommend this, I do it with my dye assault pack.

I throw all of my soft gear in the laundry, and air dry it (I hang it on a rack). Make sure all of the velcro is stuck together though, prolongs the life of it and keeps it sticky.

Yeah I throw everything in the machine (sometimes even my cleats) and never had any problems I recommend hanging your stuff to dry afterwards and try to take it out as soon as the machine is done so its not sitting in the machine wet

I wash all my gear (including assault pack) in the washing machine, just make sure the velcro is all done up and it will be fine.

Wash by hand. It's well worth it so that way you can also check to see if any tears or stitch breaks.
