Practice, and try to use the highest quality paint you can. Also, matching your bore size to your paint will increase consistency.

ball to bore

get a freak kit and check the ball size to bore size. maybe a 12-14" barrel

then practice aiming and shooting.

not every paintball will fly the same unless you are shooting perfect paint

and thats 75 a case .

but train your self to aim your marker the same way and eventually you will get better at killin fools on the field

It's a paintball marker, so it's not going to shoot completely accurate. Try getting a barrel kit so you can match your bore size to the paint you're using. I use a 14" Freak kit and it works great. My dad also 16" Freak kit, which he loves too.

A lot of the time it's not accuracy that's the problem. It's knowledge.

For example on moving targets you never shoot AT the guy who's running. You shoot in front of him so the paint has time to get there and hit him. If you shoot at him all your balls will end up flying behind him harmlessly. Paintballs aren't bullets, they take time to get to the target. The closer the target is, the less lead time you need. The further the target is, the more lead time. It takes practise.

When a guy is in a bunker, sticking out the side or whatever you never shoot AT the guy. You shoot at the edge of of the bunker closest to him. All your shots should be just outside the edge of the bunker. The reason again, is it takes time for your paint to get there. If the guy you're shooting at tucks in, your shots will fly past him. If you shoot at the edge of the bunker then a piece of him will be explosed longer as he's tucking in. That improves your odds of hitting a piece of him at least.

Learning to snap shoot with both hands is one thing you can actually practice at home. Snap shooting is popping out quick, launching one or two balls at a target and then getting back into cover right away. Some people try to pop out and launch a stream but that's not really snap shooting. It also has some value to it but not so much as snap shooting which is used to get you out of bad situations.

Learn to hold your gun properly. Learn to keep your gun up and ready all the time. Learn to move right and everything will come together in time.

I also suggest you watch good players play. Then do what they do.

Age old question! Tune your marker to be as consistent as possible, then practice A LOT! No substitute for experience. (Better paint, barrel match, good reg, all helps your consistency.)

Practice + good paint + good bore match = accuracy

good barrel =/= accuracy.

Also, learn what amount of arc you need to give the balls for certain distances. I believe a straight an level shot from a standing position will only go about 50 feet before it hits the ground due to gravity(someone check my math). So, in order to shoot at anything but their shoelaces you have to arc the ball, and you have to do it like 2nd nature. That takes practice.

Go out to your rec field with your gun, but no pod pack. Just hopper ball. It'll teach you to pick and choose your shots and improve your accuracy.
Then practice practice practice practice practice, and practice some more.

get used to your marker, develop muscle
memory on your hands about how you're
holding your gun and try to always hold it
the exact same way. find a comfortable
position to hold it and stick to it, if every
time you grab it you do it in a different
way, it'll be harder to predict where your
shots are going to end up hitting.

Piggy backing on what he said. Holding the marker properly is always the key.. If you are going to shoot from the right side of the bunker shoot with the right hand and hold the front with the left.. Shooting from the left side, shoot with left hand and hold the front with the right.. It feels weird at first but in the long run it will save your hide from getting shot, because you will be able to tuck in and not expose yourself.. The hardest target to hit and the one you can't see..

For Snap shooting practice, my first coach told me as he molded me into the war machine I am today, to use a mirror and practice leaning from a "bunker" i.e. a chair or coat rack. As you watch yourself see if there would be anything sticking out giving you away.

All in all the more you practice, the more you watch other people, and the more you learn, the better you WILL get.. Ask questions from people at your local field that are on teams ask them how to get better..

Knowledge is power and power is key.

This is good too. I practice snapping with around a corner facing a glass door I can see myself in. It's also good for running and gunning. You can walk through your breakout and get a clear view of your form. (Like if your body is square) running and gunning accurately is all about form and practice.

You need to check paintball****** on YouTube. Mike does a couple of vids on accuracy and barrel bores that are really good for beginners.
