Never got the chance to drive a CSL, but it did feel very heavy.

My STI was putting down around 400/400 in a 3100lb car. It was very well set up. The M3 needed some power mods or weight reduction.

I'd like an E92 M3 with a supercharger. Hope prices come down when the M4s start hitting the streets. You can get them in the low 40s pretty easy but they are typically older and with higher miles. I'd like like a 20k mile one. Newer so it still has a little warranty would be good.

Yeah, s54 motor in the e36/mz3/mcoupe with appropriate mods for the extra power is what I would want to go for. STI is also nice because of the awd to put down that power in such a light car.

They are nice too, I just would only get a car that big if I really only had to have 1 car. I really want a z4 m coupe. I'll settle for an mz3/coupe too. I just

No you wouldn't. It's slow as balls with no torque. Hence the reason why everyone sells their car after 2500 miles on a supercharger and buys a gtr or a 997.

You want mine? It's only got 40k miles.

Do you have a tune + primary cat delete? There's a LOT of bang for the buck left in the S65 - my dad did those mods + panel filter + UDPs and it's a big difference. E90s have such a conservative tune stock.

I know what you mean about (low end) torque, and a centri setup probably wouldn't really help the feel. It is probably more my driving style but there is nothing more annoying than putting the pedal down in a fast/turbo car and having nothing happen.

No, and I probably won't purchase those items because I know that even if I do not much will happen.

Local dealer got in a GTR with 12k miles. They want to give me what I paid for my car on grade so it's tempting. I just don't really want an automatic trans.

The 60-130 times look good. Don't they make close to 500whp? How can that be slow? My M5 was "torque less" too but still felt fast and or fun?

Regardless I'm not baller enough to spend $10k on a mod and then never see it again. Think I want a boss 302 instead, will be a lot cheaper to maintain and modify if I want.

I wonder how stiff that is compared to clownshoe. BMWs of that era are pretty floppy without bracing

The cowl shake on the m roadster was pretty bad esp when sliding into a tree, the rear suspension couldn't handle the power it made over bumps or bad surface conditions. Driving the m roadster in the rain required the same attention as driving my saab 9-3/135i in snow. That being said it was still fun as ****.

Had to order the special tool to replace my spark plugs because my deep 12 pt socket was too thick to fit into the hole and a rodent had made a big nest in under the DI/coilpack cover somehow inbetween cylinder 1 and 2.

Hey, I lived. I'm actually surprised at how strong the frame was on the m roadster. For what happened to me, it almost looked fixable, and I only had a concussion, tinnitus, and an extreme mistrust of high horsepower rwd sportscars.

Its just a thin wall 12 pt you need. Snap on makes a pretty nice one.

Got the trim on my car today. New steering rack should be on by friday. Still need to overhaul the brakes and get coils this year so I can get wheels over winter.

Well I have a pleasant update... I got a job at a Euro shop called GMP Performance. Started last week and so far so good. Shooting to having some much needed freshening done to my car in the next couple months.
