The top shell (from the seam up) certainly does look like the current top shell...if there's any difference, it'd be very small (and at that point, why bother?).

Actually, you can reload sooner and get a full pod in. The old saying reload when you can not when you have to.

Those first two pics look like it has less of a curve/indent whatever you want to call it, maybe it's just the angle.

How do you reload sooner? Assuming PSP mode everyone is shooting 12.5bps you can load after you have shot ~140 paintballs no matter what loader you are using and in what capacity.
The advantage is exactly as Alex said.

Not every Spire owner is a tourney player. I would guess most are not.

You can delay longer without worrying about not having enough paint to run and gun into your bunker. You can run to your corner running and gunning establish a lane and dominance without the potential of loosing it while one handed reloading/shooting.
I don't care how accurate you are with one hand two hands on the gun will give the best accuracy/stability especially for gunfighting.
The one-hand shooting downfield while reloading skill that EVERYONE talks about as a skill. Dynasty Dissected talked about, Matty Marshall on the PSP webcasts talks about it.
If you're saying it isn't a vital pb skill you're crazy. PB has so few fundamentals that every little thing is important. Heck if i can accurately load MORE of my pod into my hopper while shooting while another player misses and dumps half his pod on the ground doesn't that mean I have an advantage?

The guys I quoted, and so do you, inferred this spire will mean less one-handed shooting (a skill). Thus this spire will mean less of a skill (not "lower required skill" as Brewer_novascotia said )

I think he's trying to say that he doesn't have to shooting his loader nearly empty to reload AND fit the whole pod in? Maybe? i'm not sure.

One handed shooting is an extremely vital skill for play. < DOT I don't know where you got from what I said that it wasn't.

I did say however you are at a disadvantage while shooting one handed compared to both hands, this is true for no matter how good you are. Both hands on your marker will keep it as stable as possible (accurate and better controlled snap shooting), one handed you won't have as good control.
Therefore if you can keep both hands on the marker while the other guy has to do a one handed reload you are at an advantage for those few extra crucial seconds. (refer to my previous examples.)

Hi Capacity Shells have had a pretty bad wrap since previous options have been so big and heavy. For the most part, the opinions are that they are a trade off for more paint off the break, and then a big, heavy disadvantage on your gun for the rest of the game, and that only back players would use them.

That's why we designed our 260 round shell to still be both smaller and lighter then the other top 180 round loaders.

There's certainly trade offs to using it, but from my use, I believe there are a lot of benefits you get through out the game, not just off the break. Such as having a larger "window to reload" (if you load to early, your hopper can't hold all the paint, and you spill it, or if you load too late, your out of paint), as well as more often then not are able to load when you want to, and not because your out of paint.

And our 260 round shell is still small and light enough that you can play very tight in a bunker, so its a viable option for front and mid players as well. Of course, not as tight as you can with a 200 round spire.

Its a complete shell, and compatible with our existing trey, lid, and speedfeeds.

It is smaller and lighter then a stock rotor. A high cap rotor is way bigger.

Since you mention "both", another really nice thing about our 260 round shell is since it is the full shell, you can swap back and forth (in under 3 seconds ?) between the 200 round shell, 260 round shell, as well as the lid, or speedfeed.

Wonder if this is primarily a response to issues with getting paint in the loader past the cone.
