Intellifeed

Hey guys,
I have a tribal on which I'd like to add intellifeed action(activating a warp). It's a Mephisto 2.2, if that helps to get a feel for what I'm trying to do(different boardset and all, although I don't *think* it should matter).

What I'm thinking is either tapping the solenoid wires and making them go to the warp as well(if that would work), or buying a Morlock board and swapping out the entire stock board for new goodies.

Although I like buying new toys, if I can get around spending $120 or so on a Morlock, and still connect the warp correctly, I'd love to hear how.

Thanks in advance for your time and suggestions.

When I had my warp back in the day I just wired up a a positive lead from the solenoid into the positive of a 3/32" phone plug and a ground to the negative of the connector. Then just plug it into your warp and set your jumpers accordingly.

cool, I hope I can intellifeed my warp, when I eventually get a Tribal from Will. I have my warp intellifeeded to my Shocker right now and I think it would work much in the same way, just connect it to the solenoid. Check out http://www.robagd.com/shocker/ it should be much in the same way as a Tribal

wonderful, thanks guys. Just off hand, what adapter did you guys use for the warp hose-->marker? They have an "7/8 and oversize 1 inch OD" along with "Universal adapter for 1 inch".

I used the bushy feed adapter and then the 90 degree adapter that it came with. The bushy threads were slightly off, but since it wasn't really supporting any real weight or wasn't under any stress, it didn't hurt the threads that much. That and I only screwed it in only 2 and a half turns.
