I have tools and gauges to check things on the gun, but this way I know I have thing set right or close anyway before putting the marker together. And it does save time on troubleshooting.

well mine has 5 guages.
one on reg output, lpr, ram extend, ram extract.
the 5th i think is what you mean, it is on the ram extend, but has a checkvalve to hold the highest pressure during the cycle, untill i release it.
tells if every time is a consistant peak pressure, if thats what you mean?
i also have a simple 555 solenoid trigger that i test just how fast the solenoid will cycle before things start going weird, at about 26-27 bps the solenoid starts short stroking.
some solenoids start messing up at 16, im guesing these are ones with worn springs/spools.......
im gonna test the new "faster" timmy noids soon

That looks very nice. I was thinking about doing the same thing, but I don't have that much need, since I don't do service on Tribals.

I have only one comment. Liquid filled gauges are nice for a great stable reading, but they sure suck, if you want to see the recharge of the regulators.

I have both types and Liquid filled gauge show a pretty fast recharge.
