Because the main part of the desk is almost 6ft long and 27in deep. 4 legs wasn't sturdy enough so I added 2 more in the middle for added stability.

Top 200 is used as intake because after talking with some people in the build thread, I tried it and I'm getting a couple degrees cooler.

I mean you could have just built a stable desk with a normal number(read as 4) legs, instead of ****** rigging it with a couple extra legs

I don't have a degree in airflow cooling, but wouldn't airflow coming from the bottom/near bottom of the case and then flowing out the top make the most sense as hot air rises?

Even if it didn't work I think I'd rather have the top fan as an exhaust so hot air is further away from me anyways. A couple of degrees is meaningless anyways. None of your components are going to burn up anyways.

I'm not going to get in on this table discussion but you should really use your top 200 as an outtake without the rigged filter and use the front fan as an intake like it is supposed to be used. And it conveniently comes with a pop off dust filter built in.. because it's an intake.

Also that foam type dust filter will block at least 51% of the airflow as opposed to without it. So if you're so worried about keeping the inside cool that would probably make a bigger difference by removing that restrictive filter.

I can always go back and add more stability and remove the legs, but as it sits right now it is working just fine and isn't causing any problems so I don't plan on changing it.

The front fan is being used as intake as well. I'm really just experimenting as this is only my second build and I haven't researched much on airflow. I tried this and got better temps so I stuck with it, but I'm open to input.

I tried it with and without and it didn't make a difference in the way of temps. It obviously brought in a **** ton of dust without it though. And I tried it as an exhaust and it was running a couple degrees warmer.

don't feel bad, we have a 932 advanced and I still lit-rally cannot cable manage it. well, I can, but it doesn't do much good.

Yep, flip the PSU so it pulls cool air from outside rather than warm air from inside

Also puts the cables closer to the mobo tray, it looks like

yea with a vent on the bottom you would want it flipped

its already pulling air from the outside but the air coming out of the psu would be hotter so you would want it back out again through bottom vent.

**** that looks like a nice case

I'm inclined to say that you don't have a clue what you're talking about

ok

all i know is on my rig the front fans and psu intakes. top, back, and side fans outtake.

if there was a vent on the bottom(looks like there is but its for a fan) i would flip it like you said to keep the PSU air out of circulation.

um i have a rig infront of me i at least have a clue. hot air rising is complemented by low intakes and higher outtakes.

why would you want the PSU pushing air against the bottom of the case inconsequentially?
