I really wanted a simple laser dot scope with no magnification. But then I went to a hunting store and they were selling 3-9x hunting scopes for only 35 bucks. Plus about 25 more bucks for weaver rail rings and a 16" rifled barrel and now my Tac-5M is pretty sick. Albeit a bit overkill .

My suggestion is don't get anything above 3x magnification. Order a simple red dot scope online and get a 14-16" barrel with the right fitting paint. You don't need a stock and bipod unless you're going for looks. Those things just aren't practical on paint ball guns.

When you said stock and bipod are not practical and just for looks I laughed cause you have a scope on you marker... Think about it Scopes are the most impractical thing in paintball, there is no need for one..

Why do you think I'd care about your opinion?

Its a good looking gun. The firing system just need a little bit of upgrading. Thats what i did and now i can cover someones mask in paint before they know where to look.

You can benefit from your scope in woodsball, but more for spotting opponents in the woodline than actually hitting things. I used a 4x scope and it acted well as a spotter scope for the guys with flatline barrels and iron sights. If u can't live without an optic, go with a red dot sight. Zero magnification, but fast target aquisition. There is a Tactical m4 stock u can buy made specifically for the tac-5m recon, but it rattles. I didn't much care for the fixed stock u have, cause I'm a larger guy and found it too short. All I can suggest is a remote line for it now, outside of that, there's not much u can do that hasn't already been mentioned. And even though I like my Jt and have no problems with it, my one complaint is that it will not chrono over 280. If you want to use a scope, I highly recommend a tipman x-7 or 98custom with a flatline barrel.

Not the jt fixed stock, but tippman has a buttload of stocks you can add to your 68. Go to www.rap4.com

My favorite upgrade for these guns is to duct tape an Automag to the side of them.
