Yeah I actually liked it a lot more than I thought I would. The thing was pretty quick and handled really well. Not to mention it was comfortable for me. Thats pretty hard to get out of a car that size.

...it's naturally aspirated. Those are impressive numbers.

Hell, there's another version of the Camaro with a 6.2L 580HP engine in it. Pulling 500 horses without a turbo is pretty damn nice.

It takes GM and Chrysler over 6 liters to get any respectable numbers. Ford gets the same power out of a smaller engine with better fuel efficiency.

FR500 race cars. The Z/28 is roughly the equivalent of the Boss 302, but The Z/28's LS7 is much more different than the standard LS3 in the SS, whereas the 5.0 Roadrunner and 5.0 Coyote are virtually the same, the Roadrunner just has forged internals and a higher redline. Even then, the power difference between the Z/28 and the Boss is only 56, and Chevy has stonewalled the ZL1 with the Corvette ZR1.

What car does GM make that makes over 400 hp under 5.7 liters?

Plus, making a F/I car faster is as simple as turning up the boost. Making a N/A car faster takes a lot of engine work.

Lol just "turn up the boost" and see how long that motor lasts you.

A 500HP NA motor has insane potential. Also, how does a $55k car affect a $110k car? Oh and the ZR1 Corvette came out well before the ZL1 Camaro... how exactly did they stonewall the ZL1 with a vehicle that came out before it?

They aren't going to let a 55k car have similar figures to their flagship car. Ford doesn't have that problem since the GT500 is the top of the line car performance wise.. The Camaro will always be limited by the Corvette. Hell, the Z/28 is poised to cost just as much as a base Corvette, which would you rather have?

The GT500 is already capable of taking more boost from the factory, it's just a matter of getting the tune right.
