So I was trying to figure out the cause of a air leak on the etha I had recently purchased and while trying the tried and true disassemble, reassemble, and lube method of tracking down leaks down the barrel, after one reassemble the marker rapidly vented air so I turned off the asa and unscrewed the valve body from the marker.
As soon as it was loose it shot down into my lap, sent some parts flying to the floor and lodging the bolt into the marker. There seemed to have been some air that stayed in the bolt assembly that propelled it out.
I found the various o-rings that had been launched and a metal circle laying around. It seems that it was the divider between the Valve Body Front o-ring and the Valve joiner Internal o-ring had been sheared off in the blow out.
The cause in hindsight seems to be that I didn't screw the valve joiner as far as I should have, and that the springs have gone in my poppet.
My question is can I send this in to be fixed/buy a new valve body to have shipped with my springless poppet that I also just e-mailed off for?
