What's the chances?
What are the chances that D3 play will get cancelled/rescheduled?
I'm sure most of you have been watching the weather forecast, and it's gone from bad to worse as the week has gone on. We are now looking at a mix of rain/snow with temperatures just above freezing. In the interest of those players who will be spending a considerable amount of time just to travel to this event I'd like to see what the consensus is on the potential for this event to be moved. Are we going to play come rain or shine?

Well, the first MiLP event was god awfully cold, windy and it flurried for most of the tournament. It did suck, but everyone toughed through it. I wouldn't think they would cancel because of weather unless we are looking at severe thunderstorms that could be dangerous or possibly making it near impossible for people to commute to the field.
Life is tough sometimes.

He was just asking what the chances are on a possible cancelation of the tournament. A lot of guys are making long drives for this and it would be time wasted if they had a good bet that it would be canceled.

I figured that would be the case; I guess my real concern here is for the guys who are driving 3-5hrs one way for this event - when will you make the call on go vs. no-go? I know I wouldn't want to drive that far just to find out the event has been rescheduled.

Reading comprehension in this thread is at an all-time low. His question has nothing to do with ability to tough through it and the guys have played long enough to understand that paintball events still occur during inclimate weather. He is asking what sort of notice will be provided in the event that Sunday session is cancelled. If anything, he's performing public service by asking bc even though my drive is but 80 minutes I'd rather not have to drive down for nothing.
