vmax vs halo too/halo b

but seriously

I heard the VMAX does what it is designed to do, it feeds paint fast. There are a few people who say the battery is **** and won't make it to a 3rd case, and with two 9v batteries it can get expensive.

Of course the paintball community knows the halo very well, and there are a lot more faults with the halo than the VMAX, we are just used to the halo. Thousands of players are still using them(including yours truly).

Quality is less quantity. The Rotor may seem an expensive proposition right now, however, once you get it you won't need another hopper for a really long time. The rotor is pretty much bullet proof(I think there is a video of a guy shooting one with a 12 gauge shotgun). It feeds reliably, and will run forever on 3 AA batteries.

The rotor is worth every penny and if you want a hopper that "won't break the bank" then a rotor is your best option.

If you buy an empire loader it comes with a lifetime warranty... I use a v35 halo as a backup to my rotor. I prefer the rotor because of how quickly I can break it down and clean it, but the halo is a timeless loader. I also really like vlocity jrs with a virtue chip. Those can be had new for $60 on eBay and I found a new virtue chip for another $12. (At that point your getting close to used rotor or new scion prices.)

VMax = Garbage. Too many issues, and I don't believe they've began fixing the issues CORRECTLY yet, so you're as likely to get one that will feed no faster than a Revvy than you are to get one that feeds the proper speed.

Get a HaloB. Or a Halo Too. Or a Scion. Or a Rotor. Or a Spire. Any of these are reliable, feed faster than you need. Just avoid the Vmax.

the vmax is fine. no it doesnt feed like a rotor, but it doesnt cost as much as one either. it doesnt jam and if your not looking for anymore than 20 bps. the vmax is perfect. and theres an adaptor to make it use just 1 9 volt battery. people bash vmaxs because they claim to feed 30+ and they dont. but for $60 you cant expect it to, but who plays at 30+ bps anyway. what marker are you using?

SOME will feed 20. About 50% won't even feed past 10 bps. I know this for a fact, because I had one. Sent it back to Valken TWICE, recieved it back TWICE still feeding 10 bps max regardless what marker it was on. Valken even knows what the problem is, but I've yet to see any evidence that they have done anything to fix it.

Don't risk it, just don't touch the Vmax.

3 within the last month doesn't seem like you have enough time to actually say whether or not they're working well.

I've had a Vmax and really had no problems with it other than the battery issue like stated before that thing absolutely eats batteries up compared to a rotor or a prophecy or halo or really anything else. If you can't afford a used rotor or a used Z2 go for the halo it will save you a lot of money for batteries.
