I just wanted to voice my agreement with GP above. Cousins paintball was a great venue that was organized and run great. PSP and APPA staff made the lines at the ID and sign in counter nice and smooth (given the first event of the year). Layout was reasonably close for parking, great options for getting paint close to every field and a nice layout for all the vendors to get seen and noticed.
There were lots of hotels and restaurants within 15 miles or so which is as good as can be expected for almost any paintball field and all the locals and businesses seem to be very open to having paintball players around.
The event was run smooth, all our matches were on time or earlier, refs were organized, scorers were organized, and although reffing will never be perfect at any time in any sport, overall I was happy with the performance of the refs and very happy with their effort and lack of any bias or attitude.
Great weather, which I can't give thanks to Cousins or the local support staff for but I will drop all credit on Camille and Lane and their staff who picked a good location and date combo and didn't have the horrible luck we had last year with that.
