Shockwave board having issues.
So kee just sent me a new board because apparently my old one was causing reg creep issues(who would have thought). So I installed it and first I tried to see if the eyes were working as the manual suggests.
"A slow consistent single blinking Green LED indicates that the
eyes are ON with no ball in the breech and a double blink
indicates that there is a ball in the breech."
Edit: The eyes are showing that they are malfunctioning, but they were working fine with my Olympus board.
Solenoid works correctly when eyes are off.

are the eyes dirty?
It could be that the shockwave is slightly more sensitive to them being detected as dirty?
But you would think dirty eyes are dirty eyes. Pull them completely out and clean them.

Thought the same thing, I looked inside the breech and they appeared to be clean, I'll pull'em out just to make sure.

Yes. But it only goes 8 bps. Which got me to think that it was the eyes. But the eyes were working fine with the Olympus board.

I have that same issue with my shockwave as well. the optimus board did the ramping with eyes on and finger inserted, shockwave does the ramping with eyes off.
I think you have to put paint through it to get the normal operation of ramping with eyes on.
At least that is what i am assuming and hoping....

yea i am not able to play this weekend...have the honey-do list going on.
But my teammate is taking it out for a spin to let me know.
HOWEVER...if it does not work like it is supposed to, KEE will be hearing from me again. This is the second time i have received the gun back from them in an uncompleted unworking format. And i dont want to ship it to them for a third time.
So that is why i am thinking it has to have the paint through it to get the full ramping with eyes on.

I cant tell how slow mine is with your situtation but I cant walk it with eyes on and finger in the breech. Its seems to be capped. I turn the eyes off and it walkable.

From the manual.
"If the Break Beam Eye System malfunctions, the marker
assumes there was a ball broken and the Rate of Fire (ROF) is
limited to 8.0 balls-per-second (bps) to prevent further ball
breaks. The LED indicator will flash slowly. Turn the Break
Beam Eye System OFF to allow firing at Max ROF cap setting."

well in that case there is something wrong with the eyes.
B U T.... the first time i sent my gun back to KEE, new eyes and shockwave installed, second time i sent my gun to KEE, new REG and noid.
I seriously hope it is NOT the eyes having issues

I guess my point was, there is nothing wrong with my gun, I just used it and it worked fine. I would go put paint through it before you send it off. My guess is since the board can register the milliseconds between the balls (ball-in-place) setting on the board and a non-moving finger would seem like paint covering and eye. Seems to me.

I tested rapidly moving my finger up and down in the breech and it works! lol
So it does need to be shot with paintballs, also changing the ball in place setting a little lower seems to help.

The default was 5 ms I believe, I changed mine to 3 ms and was somewhat made fun of for thinking it made a difference. I did this on my other marker and I could tell. This is just my opinion
