Needs people opinions and advice looking at getting an aftermarket lcd or oled board for my etek 4 any ideas on whats the best one or all they pretty much similar eg eclipse emortal board, ape oled board, virtue oled, seventh element oled or any other people know about. Any help or advice whould be great

If you have an Etek4 AM I'd suggest the Emortal, otherwise I'd suggest an Ape OLED.

I would stay with Planet Eclipse products and get the Emortal board also.

Thanks for the input the only thing with the emortal board is you dont seem to get as many modes as you do with the ape or virtue

I'm in the same boat as you at the moment. Trying to decide which board, if any, is worth upgrading to.

The e-mortal doesn't have as many modes, but the OLED screen sits properly on the backside of the grip frame. (If you have AM frame like aresfriend said.) For the APE/Virtue Boards, the OLED screen sits on the side, which means you need to cut your current grips to match or buy new grips. (I've seen some plenty of APE/Virtue boards come with grips so maybe you can find one of those.)

Personally, I think I'm going to pass on the non PE boards even though they have a **** load of really neat modes. I guess I don't really need the gun to beep at me to do drills properly. I love the PE grips too much to mangle or get rid of them.

I have the Ape and I love it. Would recommend it to anyone.

Yea I like all the extra modes on the ape just hate it being situated on the right hand grip thats all, think im leaning towards the emortal just because its in the right place

Ape board hands down the Etek 3 ape works in the 4 I have one in my 4 and I love it. The only thing that I don't like is the grips that come with the ape board I like the standerd grips that came on the marker just have to find some one that makes them with a window for the ape screen....

i just cut a stock set of grips from the 3 giving it a vew hole and then cut the window out of the ape grips. and super glued the parts together

I have the ape board with SPD grips including the rubber finger grooves for the front of the frame. It feels good. For the cost I would recomend the ape board over the emmortal.

I have heard some rumblings that the emmortal board is no more. Some sites even have it listed in the paintball graveyard.

I personally have used both on an Etek 3 and the APE board is sweet. Has many many more features and settings however you do get stuck with the OLED out the right side and plastic grips. I loved how the Emortal board was out the back like the Ego / Geo. It is a tough call

i think im going to try to go virtue board. i do have an ape that i got with the gun but it doesnt like shooting fast. not sure why. maybe it has a power saver mode on it that doesnt send enough of a signal to recycle the solenoid or something but the stock board works just fine no matter what mode i put it on.

armoworrior1 don't know if you have the am or lt but justa reminder if you get the virtue and you have an lt then your going to have to cut into the frame

i purchased a virtue board for my etek 4 which has some really great firing modes. but it hurts to get rid of those stock PE grips. they feels so right. virtue has came out with the etek 3/ 4 oled panel grips simular to the etek 1/ 2 virtue oled grips gun N' style.

Hey you can call virtue paintball and order the new etek 3/4 virtue oled grips. There rubber panel grips $30. Just ordered mine

Is there any other boards that have the same screen location as the Emortal board? I like the Emortal board. Guess I should have bought it all ready. Not sure why they are no longer making it.
