Paintball Scene in NY?
I've been out of paintball for five years or so, and I'm looking to get back into the sport. Life has taken me up to Elmsford, NY for graduate school and playing paintball could be a possibility for me. First, how much does it cost to play in NY specifically? Back in North Carolina, it was possible to get a box of paint for $35 and $10 for field/air. How do costs compare, five years down the road, and in an area that has a higher cost of living? Second, where is a good place to play near Elmsford/Whiteplains that has D3-D1 players? Thanks.

The Meadowlands in Carlstadt, NJ is exactly what your looking for. I doubt its more then a 45 min drive from you.

Cousins/Strikeforce in Calverton is another good choice. Both LIFT D1 and D2 teams practice there as well as d3 teams.

Cousins is a little too far, almost a two hour drive plus tolls. Meadowlands is a 40 mins drive, which isn't too bad. I pm'd botz, but he hasn't gotten back to me yet. How much is it to play there?

I think lainway isnt too far from you either. Probably the same distance as the meadowlands are.

I live in westchester about 10-15 from elmsford. Meadowlands or Cousins in Calverton is what you want. Long Live Paintball is also good

Calverton is way far but its the location of the yearly BIG GAME now. Its worth the trip for that game if youre into massive games. May 18 and 19 this year

I'll be moving to New York City from Europe soon. I'm a total rookie, I'm training here with a tournament team (they do regular trainings for rookies with reballs, it's quite awesome), and now that I'm leaving town, I'd like to find myself a team in NYC to continue what I started.
I guess I'm far too inexperienced to qualify as a "free agent", so I'm wondering if there are any teams who do "open" airball/speedball training sessions for rookies. I'd like to make it to tournament level, and am willing to put in proper effort.
