Ego LV1 or VCOM
I'm in the marker for a brand new gun and I can't seem to Decide between the lv1 or the VCOM. Please tell me which one you think is better and why! I'm only looking for these markers so please don't say GTi or impluse or vanquish please

Vanquish gti impulse lmao jay kay!
Well I don't have any of those
But I am guessing the vcom will be smoother than the lv1 since it is now a spool
Instead of a poppit (I know it has both engines obviously I speak of the spool engine)

I vote vcom.
Just because its smoother, cheaper, and better looking IMO.
The lv1 is nice but Ryan Greenspan did an efficiency test for it and it gets around the same as the vcom w/ spool. And then vcom with poppit motor will deff pass lv1 on efficiency.
Overall they both seem like great guns and it will come down to a lot of preference on looks, and feel in the hands. But for the money the vcom will be smoother and quieter and the lv1 doesn't really have any pro that sticks out to me to make it better.

I wouldn't take any advice from anyone on this matter until people have gotten their hands on the LV1. All you are going to get is biased opinions on what a person "thinks" is the better marker.

Yeah as much as I hate Egos rex is right, it's going to be really hard to make that comparison until both guns are in wide release. Everything I've heard about the V-COM is that the spool valve is epicly smooth and the vids I've seen of the LV-1 make it seem like it's the only Ego ever that doesn't sound and recoil like a real gun.
I'd go VCOM because I love Marqs and hate Egos but without real world experience you're not going to get very fair comparisons.

i shot a lv1 last weekend the owner of my field was given one a few weeks ago im not a big fan of how the gun looks with the rubber grip but it feels good and it had practically no kick what so ever especially for an ego i wouldnt be scared to give one a try but if i was you id just buy a 2.0 thats what i shoot and i like it better than any gun ive shot so far overall and ive shot just about everything just my 2 cents

I'd say the LV1 because the maintenance will be stupidly easy compared with BL's reputation for finicky guns that never work (flame away, BL fanboys).
I have never even considered picking up any PE product until the LV1. Lurker's involvement with the design got me interested, then the shooting video of it got me WAY more interested.

Not so much a flame away kind of thing, but you have no idea how reliable the cam operated valve system and spring system in the LV1 will be. The ego9 was a PE gun that wasn't particularly reliable until the plank/ barb kits so even PE fails from time to time. I have also had minimal problems with BL guns, but honestly, Lurker's work on the LV1 makes it interesting to me too.

Because everyone who has shot them is saying in videos or forums that the lv1 compares to the smoothness of a geo or g6r. While the vcom is being compared to gt and luxe.
The lv1 seems to be a big improvement over the other egos, but if it was as smooth and quiet as a luxe or other high end spools while still being a poppet then the forums would be going crazy.

well from the efficiency videos and other videos people have posted even though the VCOM is a spool it still was getting more shots then the LV1. so if efficiency and smoothness is a top priority then go VCOM

Plus 1 on the LV1 is ugly. It may grow on me though, but I wonder if the goal was to get rid of the Macroline why not finish the job?

The LV1 has seen very limited action so far (just test fires at different tournaments and the pros used them in Dallas some). The VCOM is the same as any other marq almost except it has 2 different engines instead of one (you can buy the spool engine for your older victories as well).
To say Bob Long doesn't make a gun that works is extremely ignorant and misinformed (and just flat out retarded). I have seen more issues (some technical, some electrical, and some user error) with PE guns than BL guns. I have owned a great number of Egos and BL guns and have seen this first hand.
Like other people are stating just wait for people to get their hands on both more and then you do the same and see which you prefer for yourself. I want to shoot both and make my own claims from that.

People might be able to help you more if you tell us what you are looking for in a marker, and why you only want one of these?
Personally they are both great markers, but they are meant for different things. They are not meant for the same people, IMO (unless you are rich, then buy both )
