Ok so I wanted to make a post about my experience with upgrading the 2011 rail.
Here is what I did:
- techt bolt
- gog 360 qev
These are probably the simplest upgrades you can do and they work wonders.
I need to do an efficiency test, but I am running at much lower pressures and dwell.
The first upgrade is pretty self explanatory. Just follow the techt guide.
The second upgrade is probably equally as easy. I might post up a pic how to, but it is so simple I don't think it is needed. Go to GOG's website and find the 360 qev under accessories. Now make sure you buy the 4mm one. This is a direct replacement in the rail!
Now all you have to do is take off the grip frame
Remove the center airline fitting, trim the hose a little and install the new 360 qev.
Put her back together, drop your dwell and have fun! I have my dwell set at 15ms and she is dead on consistent. I might drop it some more, but I want to break things in a little more.
If I get some interest I will post up pics.
