Stock bolt AND boss bolt issues
Ok, so about a year ago or more i bought an Axe. I instantly put a boss bolt in it when recieved, and went with the recommended settings. I can NOT get the gun to fire any higher than 260fps. So, one day i decided to give the stock bolt a shot. I cleaned the gun and properly installed the stock one, and after each shot it sticks in the breach and wont return. I used the grease that came with the axe, didnt over or under oil it. But i am left confused and in need of help getting my gat to run properly... Help??

What is the pressure set at? If you left it at the recommended boss setting of 160psi with the stock bolt then you're too low. The stock bolt is recommended around 180psi.

It worked! Went to my local field before work to test it, first thing i did was remove the yellow spring and put the stock spring on the boss bolt. Went to a happy medium 170psi and it shot very consistantly around 292 peaking just over 300 every 10 shots or so, but i still had the velocity screw maxed out. I tore down, put the stock bolt and spring in and turned it up to 180-185 psi and tamed down the velocity screw and it was shooting around 280 with no jams. Though i did put the boss back in with the stock spring, it seemed much more consistant and slightly a smoother shot with that. But thanks for the tip!

Just so you know I believe it is recommended to use a thicker lube for the boss bolt. The stock axe lube (dow33) is too thin.
You should confirm this but I use tech t, I think I remember reading boss's comment to use a thicker one than dow 33. Just be sure not to use Dow 55
