Colored "carbon fiber"

Well its not really carbon fiber it actually texalium but it looks like silver carbon fiber. anyhow I had a request from someone to get colored carbon fiber for a project so long story short unless you have 50000 to spend to get it custom woven for you you cant really get it in tube form. So I though about it for a while and it came to me. I have done candy colors in the past on some motorcycle restorations and such why wouldn't it work here also I already have a nice silver "base coat" just candy clear over it and it will give the illusion of colored carbon fiber without the 50k investment so without further stalling here is some of the test pieces.

for reference this is what it looks like before. texalium on the right carbon fiber on the left.

they have plenty of woven colored carbon sleeve which is super easy to make into tubes.

I am not a resin person my shop is setup to make chips and i have never really had luck with casting resins or fiberglass vacuum forming so i would rather pay a professional to do that part
