Do you add anything to the tank? I've got, maybe, 10 plants in my 120 (if that). I'd like to add a few more hiding places in the 29 gallon as well, even though the guppies are stoked as hell to have that much space.
I had a java fern in a tank with a single basic t8 bulb, no co2, no fertilizer and gravel substrate and it grows like wildfire. I also successfully kept amazon swords under that same setup. I just got better lights so im gonna try some new plants.

I've got a plant growth bulb with some moneywort and another one I can't remember. They are doing fairly well, but not growing super fast.

So I tested my water at my LFS and everything is looking real good so I went ahead and bought 4 neon tetras and an orange dwarf gourami.

As of right now I am at:
A bunch of water sprite plants and a wisteria plant
4 neon tetras
1 dwarf gourami
2 mollies
2 corys
1 snail

At this point in my 14gal tall, is my tank at capacity or is there room to add any more fish?

unless you bury the roots or bleach the system you wont kill a java fern. i almost killed one off by burying the root system but it bounced back when i tied it to a piece of drift wood. its kind of like a anubias, so long as you do not full submerge the roots in the sub they will grow.

i posted in the old thread my thoughts on how CO2 dosing (ie gas co2 system) is bull**** and posted a bunch of links. lighting is FAR more important and CO2 is, in the vast majority of cases, the least important thing to supp. i dose my tanks with flourish excel and they all do great.

i do not miss fish that actively jump out of my tanks. the snakeheads we used to have would jump out all the damn time. i remember my dad had to put a brick on the hood to keep them from flipping it open.

My eel sleeps in the filter, he got pissed when I tried to get him back in the tank for breakfast. He jumped to the left instead of straight in.

My eel is really good then. The worst thing he does is burrow himself under the gravel and scare the **** out of me because i cant find him. As for plants i have amazon swords, java ferns, dwarf tears and anubias in my tank everything except for the anubia which i just got has grown great with standard lighting. Now that i upgraded my lights they should grow even better. I would definitely try to anchor them to drift wood, not only do they grow better but it looks awesome too.

They sell anubia here, it looks cool.

Yeah my eel is a butthead lol. He's definitely not just a dumb creature, he's pretty cool.

I wouldn't be adding anything else. You're at the limit in my opinion.

Remember, these fish grow and eventually, when they're full grown the tank will be way over stocked imo.

Typical rule is an inch per gallon.

Hands, he's friendly. I usually just stick blood worms in front of him and he follows them.

1 square inch per gallon is the rule.

One or more of my guppies gave birth today. I've got 40 or so tiny little guppies hiding all around my breeding tank

That's really cool. These guys are so tiny, you can really just notice them by their eyes.

Hopefully they bulk up quickly. 1/2" and they are home grown, parasite free, shrimp fed feeders

Just drove 10+ hours.

First thing I do?

Get the tank set up and going for what shall be an epic tank.

I bought a huge piece of drift wood while in MD, it won't fit in my tank, I am disappoint.

Got a decision to make...

I've got this fish with my name on it currently.

But I can not take that one and get this one

I like em both, and I'd take them both, just can't house both right now.

im not really a fan of GT's but that flowerhorn is really nice. if i were to go big SA cichlid i would get a Jag personally. i am sort of partial to jacks of all kind too.

actually, i would get snook...snook rule. gotta love a fish that can do this:
