Her is my issue I am having right now. I can get the reg off the gun and get the bottom piece to unscrew and get the macro elbow off the DM12 hyper 3 reg. my problem is I can not get the top hart to unscrew so I can actually clean and maintenance the inside of the actual hyper 3 reg for my DM12. I am guessing the person that had it before me never took it apart to maintenance it.

I tried everything I could think of. I talked to dye and did what they recommend. I tried to use a jar opener for extra grip. I have the Allen key that fits it to unscrew it but still has not budged.

Top does not unscrew and can not figure out how to get it to unscrew off??

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Might work

the best thing to do is use a vice and a rubber mat like a tech matt, and lock it in tightly then use the allen key to undo the top hat, just be carefull as if you vice has teeth and its not tight enough it will scratch the reg i've done it many times!

some times you can tighten the bottom cap on and get the top cap off as well

Just tried this and it worked. Thanks guys.

Good thing I did it because the reg was filthy. I can only imagine what the lpr is going to look like when I take that apart or maintenance
