Freak Internal O-rings

hey, i just got a freak back, and i was wondering if i should lightly put some oil on the internal o-rings to keep them fresh? also, if they break, is it really hard to replace em? or do you just put a o-ring inside... haha, sounds kinda stupid, but ive heard of some people saying stuff like that
