The LV1 "This ain't your Daddy's Ego"

Well, well,
Its been a minute since I have posted on the nation, so long most folks have no idea who I am (not that I am anybody special), I am Gerwin Henn, owner of Swat Paintball circa 1985, player with many notable teams of years gone by , winner of lots of trophies..still balling every Sunday morning, just dont travel to events anymore. Most important I am blessed enough to have been a beta tester for the LV1.
Let me start by saying I have not written a review on a marker since the first GEO came out, so impressed was I, that I felt the need to put finger to keyboard and write. Since that time I have shot every paintball gun planet has made, as a player and tester and although impressed by them all in one way or another, I felt no motivation to come to keyboard.

They decided to call it LV1, myself and Son (Roger Henn) have our own acronym W.M.D. (Weapon of Mass Destruction).
You do not have to pretend this gun shoots different, from the first shot you just know there is something special.
Like you crossed everything you liked about a GEO with everything you loved about your Ego:
Smooth, Quite, Air Efficient, Light, trigger pull....etc.

I'm a bit different I think then some testers, because before I am a tester, or a field owner, I am a PLAYER and not the keep your gun spotless and take apart every weekend kinda guy but the real world paintball veteran of throw that in a bag with hopper , and bottle along with old clothes and gear kinda know the kind that only change a battery when it dies or before a event player. I pride myself in knowing if I say a gun is good that I have fallen on it, been in rain, mud and extreme heat (south Ms).

I will further say there are a lot of good paintball guns out there, I mean at some point they all start to shoot fast, they all shoot straight, all pretty good over the chrono, it comes down to a bit of looks and opinions. I'm not around to debate who has a prettier gun, I'm here to tell you if you wanna a gun that feels good in your hands,no recoil, shoots darts, is quite, gets about 1600+ shots off a fill, does not wanna stop shooting even in harsh conditions and real world care, than the WMD oops I mean LV1, needs you to give it a try.

I will close with the statement I told Jack Woods after the first weekend I shot the gun
" I have been a GEO fan since it came out, never intended on shooting anything else again in paintball, Until I shot this gun"..
now I will shoot this until Eclipse thinks of another way to change the engineering of the paintball world."

Like my title said "This aint your daddy's Ego" thats because Im old enough to be your Daddy and it sure as Hell ain't the Ego I shot in 2006 or 2011 for that matter

PS not sure if I will come back and answer questions, maybe I will...I'm just damn busy. you can email me at, if you wanna know something as I check that regular.

I'm sure that once it starts getting in people's hands the "ew ugly" will rapidly disappear.

Great review.

Also got to shoot one this weekend. Lots of people will be surprised at how comfortable and easy to shoot the LV1 is. The sound signature is for sure quieter , id say 30-40% reduction.
