With the new gti upgrade do you still need a pressure tester?

Is this because of the new board shows the operating pressure?

Yes, that's exactly why. I always like to have mechanical gauges when it comes to diagnosing, but with the new board it certainly isn't necessary to have.

The only justification for having both would be to accuracy check one or the other. Since it isn't absolutely imperative to have a tester at all, I see no need for both.
