Ahh, okay. You should be all good then. Just remove shims one at a time until you're in the range you want. If you want to go back and forth to semi without any adjustments, 86 psi is ideal.

Ahh, lol. See, what we have here is a failure to communicate

The concave washers that comprise the spring are what we call spring washers. The shims are the flat, foil-like rings that go behind the spring. We add or remove those shims to adjust the pressure. Leave all of the spring washers in place, stacked like this:

) ( ) (

Then you should have some completely flat washers made of a really thin foil-ish material for pressure adjustment. If there are no flat shims in there and you are getting 105 psi out of the LPR with the stock spring configuration, you'll want to replace the LPR - the main seal is worn out.

Yeah, sounds like that main seal is probably worn. Like I said, unfortunately that entails replacing the LPR to properly fix. However, you could just use that alternate spring stack you used before to get to a lower pressure as long as it isn't impacting performance.

Here's a pic of the shims, for reference:

http://www.fixmyangel.com/product_in...products_id=29

(the 4 spring washers are on the left hand side of the pic - the silver flat shims to the right are what you use for pressure adjustment)

*edit*

Just to be completely sure, if you look down into the body of the gun with the LPR piston removed, do you see anything? Sometimes the shims get stuck to the LPR body due to oil and grease buildup. An o-ring pick or toothpick makes it easy to get them out.

you'll want to hook a gauge up to the lpr and shoot fast if you want to mess with the lpr springs (washers). I have received guns with incorrect washer configurations and sometimes the LPR pressure is low and sometimes the pressure is both low and slow to recharge.

So would you be willing to do this as a service?

I'm interested in getting into pump play. Would love to convert an lcd to a pump.
