I have tried all sorts of name brand batteries in my Ego but every one seems to either drain flat over night or will register as being flat straight away.

The battery indicator flashes and a high pitched whine comes from the speaker as soon as I turn it on.

The terminals are making good contact with the battery so all I can think is that maybe there is a short some where.

Has anyone else had this issue before.

Google and other searches have not helped me.

My 11 was killing the battery overnight when I first got it. Pe replaced the board and all is well. Definitely contact pe

Well a teammate borrowed the ego today for a 3's tournament and he said the battery problem was very random.

New battery put in this morning, said it was flat, later during the day it said it was full then half then 3/4 quarters.

Ego still shot though which is a bonus I suppose.

Sounds like a board issue. A new board will fix it.

I am still no closer to figuring out what the problem was but now the Ego is working fine.

Took the board out to check for damage or paint/water etc on it, loose wires.

And I found nothing. Looked near brand new.

Put board back in and used the battery my team mate had put in it and the Ego worked fine, turned on fine, shot fine.

I spent a few hours turning it on and off again randomly and no issue at all.

Of it says the battery is dead but still shoots normal then it may be a firmware problem. Either way contact PE.
