I'm not trying to start an argument or anything but as an honest question, are the Gt's made in the same place that these borgs will be made? The reason that I ask is because my Gt was the gun that had the QC issues.
It's hard to tell in the pic below because of the flash but the asa was a completly different shade of brown. It was either in a different ano run or made out of a different type of aluminum. Either way, it's not what you would expect after spending $1400 on a brand new gun from the factory.
The main milling line in the gun (the one that goes from the point of the back cap, just under the eyecover, and to the top of the reg) did not match up with the milling lines on the reg on the left side of the gun but on the right side everything lined up perfectly.
Lastly, the gun leaked from the factory between the asa and frame. Come to find out that the Gt (or atleast the one that I had) uses a thin metric buna oring that you would find being used as noid gaskets and not for high pressure air passage ways. I replaced it without any issues but I only got one of those orings in my spare parts kits and before I sold the gun, the oring blew again so I had to order more. Now I understand that macdev isn't the only company that doesn't include enough orings to completly rebuild the gun several times in the packaging but it's not a good excuse for any company if they expect the customer to spend $1000+ on a product. Furthermore, The lube that the gun came with only had a tiny amount that was stuck to the brim of the container (like if you took your pinky and stuck it into a giant tub of lube and then scraped it off in the container).
With all of that said, I am not saying that the Cyborg (or whatever they end up calling it) will have any of these issued but my past experiences with Macdev's QC has left a negative impression on me.
