So guys, With Azodin closing down for a while I have decided to make a unofficial tech support thread. If you have any issues with an Azodin product post it here. I or any other member of the community is welcome to post a possible solution. The first 4 posts will be reserved for the specific markers.
All issues will be posted in said sub-post with solutions.

Contacting Azodin is the primary way I would recommend for gun support. You may contact them at tech@azodin.com

OK guys, first tech question for you.

Today I played a woods ball coarse at Velocity in San Diego. I was Running for my first bunker, fell, and must of hit the Reg. Pssssssssssssss, lost all air and my Front plug was shot in to oblivion along with the spring under it.The aluminum threads in the front plug/body just pulled right out! I didnt fall on the gun it just fell in front of me(not vary hard of a hit)

EDIT: Are the threads that hold on the vertical ASA/Reg in the front plug or the hole in the body?

Will a Zero kit upgrade fix my problem or do I need a new body? If the threads are in just the body than that's like 3/16" of aluminum threads holding on the entire REG

It's sorta a week point in the design, so be careful and don't hit the Reg because the only thing holding in place is the aluminum threads in the bottom of the front plug and or body.

This was the first day shooting my new Blitz, and I was trying to recommend it to my buddy who is just getting in to the sport. Lol ahhhhhh...
It was one of those days.

Yeah I finished the day with Rental with a Halo on it.

The threads are in the metal cone that pertrudes outwards. Make sure there is a oring inbetween the body, and the part that you screw your regulator into. A new zero kit should fix that, along with a new screw. And no, its not a weak design, its just not one to used as a baseball bat towards the ground. :-)

Thanks, but I still think a steel plug would not add that much weight and would hold a lot better than 3/16" of aluminum threads

Seriously look in that hole, its like 4 rows of thread holding on the Reg.
At least Azodin quoted me only 8$ for the parts so no biggy...

However this is the perfect time to tell my wife that the part to fix my gun cost 50$ on ANS

Well its sufficient. Just be more careful next time. And you cant have a screw too long, it will interfere with the zero system itself.

It being "sufficient" maybe, durable... NO!
I almost forgot you where right next to me calculating the impact when it happened

Joking aside, my point isn't to attack Azodin, but to recommend that parts z041 and a041 should be Steel, aluminum is a fairly soft metal for tapping small threads to hold on the entire Reg system.

Azodin already told me no on the warranty, so Im not saying this just to get free parts or bash Azodin. More like constructive criticism. As a customer and fan of Azodin, I would like to see them do well. ~Customer Feedback...
