Your right though, that's relativity cheap compared to the cost of Halo's and Rotor's but remember it's still only a 11 to 12 BPS hopper.
I guess the younger generation doesn't know, but that price is dirt cheap. Given the distribution, I wouldn't doubt if it can be found near that price locally for many players. Sure get a used one if you like but you will need to make sure you are getting the old shells to have a comparable product. There is probably some downward pressure on those used revvies due to this price point. Personally I would rather cut up a new, in-production loader than an old, out-of-production one, all things being equal.
The feed rate of the revvy is almost irrelevant. It's a different kind of hopper than a halo or rotor, and it's pretty much the fastest available of that type.
Bottom line, there is nothing at all "ouch" about that price, even if you are going to cut it up. There's no way a factory produced low-capacity loader would be any cheaper.
