Ok I'm so looking to get a second tank in case my kids or wife play. Been looking at some empire and valken tanks. So any info on these tanks?

I can recommend Ninja, but I can't say anything one way or another about Empire or Valken.

Empire has a lifetime warranty, even though you can't have a tank past 20 years, it's still something to consider.
Ninja is good. I noticed they must make there tanks differently, my guess, more hands on and less machinery. The tank is bumpy I guess. You can tell when you roll it on a flat surface. Not that it matters but its probably cause they take time making them.
Either company is good, but the UL reg is amazing (can be put on an empire tank) The fill nipple doesn't poke out or scratch you.

You can't use a tank past 15 years.
The 'bumps' are air bubbles in the cylinder when the tank is being rolled and having the lacquer coating applied. It happens on all brands from all companies, it has nothing to do with 'more hands on' as the way of applying the coating is rather standard. If a tank has a colored outer coating the chances of feeling an air bubble or an imperfection are greatly reduced because of the cosmetic layer over the actual clear coat.

yeah, i have 2 Ninja tanks now and they are great. have not tried a Valken so i can't comment on that one, but i would recommend a Ninja tank, its great for what it's made for.

Ninjas are great, but expensive. If it's just going to be a backup or loaner tank, I'd go with something cheaper. I haven't used a Valken tank yet, but the Empire ones aren't bad. And I own a Crossfire 68/45 and CP 48/45, both of which are great tanks and cheaper than a Ninja

i was thinking about a 50/4500. something a little bigger. i play rec now so dont really need a big tank. i saw a ninja at the field shop for $150 new 68/4500. i see the empires are a little cheaper

Don't forget to look on the B/S/T too. You can get some used tanks on there for pretty good deals sometimes
