Need a little bit of advise if possible please

Used the Etek 3 at the weekend

LPR stock
Dwell 9
HPR 4 turns out

Over the chrono 270 275 280 ish

Stock barrel
Winter paint

Now it was cold but not -1 but the etek was smashing paint left right and centre all in the barrel none in the breach

Any idea's ive read on a number of sites to increase the dwell take the LPR in 3 times from flush and this should make the gun shot smoother as i think the etek was just to harsh on the paint

The same paint was used in the teams Geo's and Ego 11 so was the etek causing a issue

Any advise would be helpful

When it's cold it's best to over bore ur paint

Turn the LPR down some more than stock.

I've used my Etek in -10 Celsius weather and have not had issues. Probably the paint IMO. I've had issues breaking paint that Egos/Geos were able to shoot but I wasn't.

Changed the Dwell to 12
lpr in 3 turns
Chrono about 270

Sweet as a nut. Broke a few paint but the weather was cold and no were near the amount before

I was told from fellow peers to go 1 turn in from flush for the LPR.

Stock is 2 turns in from flush if anyone doesnt know

Turning only 1 turn from flush = higher LPR pressure = rougher on paint.

If you're peers were trying to help you shoot fragile paint, they aren't very friendly lol.
