No, it's a serious one.
I haven't seen all the movies so besides from the typical answer of "by defeating his villains," I am curious what exactly earns him his fame and glory. I know there's one scene where he stops a burglar and a runaway train or something but besides that, I am at a loss. |

Have you seen The Amazing Spiderman? The new one that came out last year? They are remaking the series and are coming out with a second one apparently and im a huge fan of the direction they are going with this one.
But I would say what got the start to Spiderman's name was the death of his uncle and to clean the NYC streets of bad guys and of course a villain will always be the main concern of it like every super hero's story. Like Batman, and Superman and others no one knows who he is other then a guy in a suite and a mask and gets all the publicity in the papers as being a villain himself and is doing more harm then good. He obviously tries to overcome that but Spider man is one of my favorites though.
