There's just as many people who bought the luxe and discovered they were too brain dead to keep the gun running as people with the shocker.

Sadly anything harder to maintain then a tippmann 98 in this sport is too much for a lot of people.

Back on topic.. I can't say I'll buy it, but I'm excited for when the first Impulse hits our area, I really wanna see if it shoots any better than the 09... Even with its archaic 9volt technology

Yes I have had players on my team scramble looking for a place to plug in their Luxe 15 minutes before a match.
Pro's especially, they think they just need to show up with cleats and a jersey sometimes.

I'm not saying I wouldn't shoot one. I just won't be purchasing, which is a shame because I have money ready for more than one. I'd rather purchase 2 maybe even 3 09 impulse's before I coughed up the money for one of these.
Shame, I was going to send you one to test but it seems the barrel threads are more important to you then every other aspect.

Ideally the luxe would have both a car charger and a wall charger, and all guns would follow suite.

Perhaps the ideal solution would be to have a rechargeable like the 09/luxe but able to use 9volts for the idiots in the paintball world. While the guys like me laugh at them buying $5 9volts at the event.
I would love to see a marker that can do both. Or even just better rechargable 9v's would be nice.

Sad part is that every electronic marker now is so uncomplicated and people still refuse to learn how to work on and tune their own gear.

And I quote, "I'm not saying I wouldn't shoot one."

As a mod for I-O you should go through with this, so I can make an exclusive article about it.

Ill repeat.
The barrel length is measured where the bore starts not where the gun starts. The only thing thats longer is the front of the gun that houses the barrel. You dont add any extra distance.

And it would make no sense to use 1 companies standard over your own.
I sure if spyder made an impulse it would use spyder barrels and same with tippmann.

Im done correcting you.

You are measuring wrong fool, I'm not arguing total barrel length, only you are arguing that.

I'm talking from the start of the bore to the thread, which would in fact make the gun longer.

I'm done correcting you.

Why would they go back to impulse threading when all barrel manufacturers stopped making it years ago. They're not just going to bring it back for one gun. I wish all guns would use just one standard so then I wouldnt have to go out and buy a bunch of barrels for all my guns. Luckily I own just cocker threaded guns now but I've been around long enough to own a barrel in pretty much every thread.

Okay tranny I'll give it a try.

Companies that still make this threading to this day are, and not limited to:

Deadly winds
Hammerhead
GOG
DLX

Just to name a few.

You named the same company twice and they only make those barrel threads because it is their gun that uses them.

1. Not the same company, just share some people and same owners.

2. No dur, tranny boy said nobody makes them. I corrected him.

It ALMOST would be like arguing that jt and empire are the same company.

Awwww somebody is *** hurt because they were wrong.

And if you had a true sense of "usefullness", you would have left pages ago, after the Daryl Trent rant.

Not hurt at all, nor wrong. I just know that there is no point in trying to reason with you. Honestly I don't even know what you mean by "Darryl Trent rant". Feel free to copy what you think the rant was and pm me. No point in going round and round in this thread.

X2.

Wish people wouldn't spew lackadaisical **** like dlx and GOG is the same company. A quick trip to the manufacturer page would show two separate threads for the companies. And we all know pbnation can't ever be wrong.

Your point on Daryl Trent is the peak of your "usefullness" on this thread.

It's not the SP impulse anymore, its the JT so why in the hell would you ever think that Empire/JT would use Imp threads ? All of there guns are already cocker threaded why would they change it?

OHHH i heard impulse threaded barrels put back spin on the ball and make it uber HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH and oh so AGG

I'd be happy if the entire industry went ion threads as they are superior to cocker threads in every way imaginable.
