Question for eminem lovers
Has anybody else noticed a huge change in eminems music the past 10 years? His rap a long time ago was amazing. Now his rap just makes me want to punch someone? Thoughts on this?

From what I understand he did a lot of drugs back in those days. Also he's getting older. I don't think he'll ever be the same as he was on "The Eminem Show" but I would still consider him one of the greats.

i like his new stuff better. I thought talking about drugs and rape and **** was stupid. Purple pills was probably the worst song ever created. His new stuff is much deeper and mature.

While Purple Pills wasn't an Eminem song, I still disagree with you more than a lot. Purple Pills is awesome.

I love people that demand artist's don't change.
Can you imagine being a musician or performing artist and having to do the same shows over and over and over again? Eventually, that little nuance of emotion that drove the entire show dissipates and you have to find some new avenue to keep that euphoric high that drove you to begin with.
People's music changes. Their taste in music and everything around them changes, therefore their output is different.
Here's the real kicker though: This change may lead some astray from what you want. At the same exact time though, it leads others towards what you want. You just have to be more active in discovery.
