I like the juxtaposition of the luxury car in a pretty lower/middle class area.

I really enjoy seeing other people's processes in achieving different results. Like skin retouching. There's so many different ways to retouch in Photoshop.

She's got a lot that are focused specifically around utilizing her action sets, but she's also got quite a bit that are just general PS tips/tricks for anyone.

Solid stuff.

I wish I got out and shot more cool events like some of you do. We have so many bumbling old ****s that ruin it for everyone else.

WTF's on their feet?!

Really dig the shots of the riders in the shadows and the dogs in the light.

Joshua Tree was cool.... Broke my tent for the second time. SOOOOOOOO much wind. Some photos to come.

Do you guys have any advice for shooting in near dark conditions? Looks like I'll be going out with the game commission this week for deer banding. I don't give a **** about deer, but it gets my foot in the door for hawks, eagles, owls, etc.

I expect my light source to be a few flashlights. My best idea is to bring a flashlight and use it as my focus assist, then blast everyone with the speedlight.

Deer spook easy, so I don't know if a flashlight would be your best choice. Best bet would be to just use the speedlight when the deer are close enough and you have them in focus.

I used to hunt a lot and am a full blood country boy, I know all about sexing deer.

The game commission will have flashlights to see WTF they're doing. This will be around 10pm, so I need some light to find focus.

I know Nikon and Mamiya both use infrared beams to help focus. If i have my sb900 on my d3 and have it set to single focus, not continuous, the sb900 emits a really strong beam that i can barely see, but it apparently helps the camera focus. Seems to work really well in low light situations. May want to check if the canons do the same...

I shoot Nikon.

I've used the AF beam to help in low light, not no light. We shall see. It's going to be an all around cluster****. Me trying to get focus, a few GC officers trying to hog tie a deer.

Hopefully my sb700 does the trick!

I plan to throw the 700 on and use the rogue flashbender as a big bounce card.

Aw dude, looked at that pic I posted the other day on my monitor here at work. No wonder you guys *****ed at me about skin retouching. WTF. My monitor at home didn't show any of the blemishes. It looks terribad.

I really need to buy a calibrator.
