G6R Poppit leak wont go away.
Hey guys im having issues and have searched all week trying everything i could find to do and cant fix this leak. Bought a new lp poppit to put in my g6r since love it so much but now i have a leak coming out of the poppit hole / barrel. I used the gun with the leak today at practice and it still shots fine no major shot down or anything just it was a little more of a air hog so keep airing it up at 10sec call.
Pressures are Hpr 190 Lpr 72
So far i have tried.
Putting old poppet in
Switching cup seal with the spare cup seal it comes with.
Changed all oring on both poppets and both ram orings lubed dow 55.
Dow 55 and Dry Poppet oring.
Cleaned and relubed all body halves Orings. (free of nicks look new)
Cleaned and inspected the rear body halve face and cleaned with q-tip.
Pulled lpr and made sure poppet spring was seated correctly.
I did see there is a small hole in the bottom of the poppet chamber not sure what it is but im thinking thats gotta be where the air is coming from.
I greatly appreciate any help.

Start by isolating the leak.
Back both regs down to zero psi, and listen for a leak.
Then adjust HPR to about 150-200(or to what it was before zeroing), listen for leak. If it leaks HPR pressure only then it's the cupseal or oring in the body halves.
If no leak, then adjust LPR to 70-75psi(or to what it was before zeroing) listen for leak. If leak is there, it's either the poppet oring, front ram oring or body halve orings.

Also to the 2 places to check, replace the oring that seals the frame to the front body halve.

Have you also made sure the portion of the body that the poppit face sits against is dry and totally lube free?

Called blast and after looking at the rear body half very close the poppit grove kinda looks egg shaped so might be replacing a body instead.

I've had the same leak issue as well with no fix yet. Sent to a tech who said it was leak free got it back went to use it and leak was still there...iv tried everything but a body back replacment..(full oring rebuild, new lp poppit, new poppit spring, then another full oring rebuild) gotta be a body inperfection where poppit sits...lmk what a back half runs price wise and if it fixs your issue please. Good luck.

You're right, I did go through your gun and fix your poppit leak. The biggest issue with yours was the poppit spring. Sweetspotted your regs and chronoed it to 290 after I was finished.
I didn't ship it back with any leaks. Since then, you've taken it apart numerous times because you said it had a leak. I offered to take a look at it again for free.
No need to bash me over something that I offered to look at again for you, free.

sending it back to tim tomorrow! great guy hope he gets it whipped this time...
o and tim im not bashing anyone i was just telling him my story on the same leak issue
( i didnt touch it when i got it back i used it the sunday after it was returned and it leaked.. i used it last sunday and it leaked... i took it apart for first time after getting it back from you lastnight to give it another shot so i wouldnt have to send it back and waste your time if it was something small, but it still leaks and i just got done boxing it up to ship back to you.)
