my thoughts exactly. And honestly listening to that broadcast, and some of the games ive caught on NHLN through other teams feeds, I'm so thankful the Hawks announcers aren't completely biased like most other teams seem to be. I would honestly mute it. Plus, ya gotta love Foley. Lucky we got the best in the bizzz.

i can't even handle NBCSN or NESN (I think that's Boston's feed). They are so biased it's impossible to listen.

I'll be the first to admit how badly biased NESN is, but dear lord Jack Edwards throws out comments that are hysterical and make you think he's on something.

That's probably my favorite Edwards video, :25 is when he starts going nuts. Guy has a lot of passion for the game.

Yea Bostons one of the worst I think, Vancouver was pretty biased, actually alot of the ones I see are. Its real stupid., I wouldnt be able to handle that.

I can look past Edwards' homerism because he's super passionate about the game and gets excited for any hockey play. The guys that do the Penguins' broadcasts for Root Sports are easily the worst I've ever heard as far as bias goes, at least Edwards can recognize a good play when it happens.

who would you ever see outside of a national broadcast?

Shorthouse calls opposing goals with almost as much enthusiasm as the Nucks goals, of course there is a bit of homerism the guy grew up a nucks fan and is now calling the games?

Him and when Jim Hughson used to call the games are two of the best in the game.

Pat Foley's play by play is pretty damn good. I enjoy his, "HAWKS WIN! HAWKS WIN! HAWKS WIN!"

Eddie is ok at best, him and Foley get too buddy buddy from time to time where it's like they forget they are calling the game. Also, I'm naturally inclined to not like Eddie very much since I played for him and his brother at one point, and thought both were douches. Also, his kid was a prick. Lol

Yeah he is quite passionate and does give credit where credit is due for an outstanding play whoever does it.

After living in PA for the past 4 years and having to watch root sports I always had the tv muted. You just want to punch the broadcasters for their stupidity and arrogance.

tossed $50 on the under of 5.5 with the hawks game tonight

buddy of mine put together this huge excel spreadsheet program analyzing GF/GAA, and Road stats, using it he's 18/21 in the last week and a bit
