loader or cheap paint? Gravity style loaders "shake and break" will do that. Also cheap paint or even just trying to play in the cold weather. Second if your around a chono turn down the reg.

I have a halo too for it, maybe it's not set on a high enough feed rate.

I have a halo too hopper as well and I rarely chop paint with it, I have not messed with the hopper either. Don't think its the hopper.

Is it a chop or a barrel break? That'll help narrow down the cause(s).

If it's a chop, try replacing your batteries (both halo and fenix), check your bolt face (doubt there's anything wrong with it since it isn't breaking a lot more paint).

If it's a barrel break, try a larger bore or smaller paint.

It was almost like it chopped several balls in a row. I cleaned it all up, re lubed it and haven't had the problem since. So I don't know what the deal was.

It was just angry at you for not cleaning it, so it was through a tantrum like a small child.

Do you have the rubber bumper behind the hammer? If that's missing, the bolt flys too far back, and double feeds, then chops. I had this problem with mine so I cut a piece of rubber hose and stuck it back there. I couldn't figure out why my qloader was just puking out balls, and that's why.
